Configuration snippets for every MCP client that works with PaidHelm: Claude web/desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code with Copilot, Gemini CLI and Perplexity.
PaidHelm is a remote MCP server using the Streamable HTTP transport with OAuth 2.0 (dynamic client registration and PKCE). Any client that supports remote servers works. Server URL for all of them:
https://mcp.paidhelm.com/googleads/mcp
Claude (web, desktop, mobile)
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → Add → Connect. Enable the connector in each chat from the tools menu. Available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise Claude plans. Full guide.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http paidhelm https://mcp.paidhelm.com/googleads/mcp
Then run /mcp inside Claude Code to complete the Google sign-in. Full guide.
ChatGPT
Settings → Connectors → Advanced → enable Developer mode → Create → name "PaidHelm Google Ads", paste the URL, authentication OAuth → Create. Available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans. Full guide.
Cursor
Add to .cursor/mcp.json (project) or ~/.cursor/mcp.json (global):
{
"mcpServers": {
"paidhelm": { "url": "https://mcp.paidhelm.com/googleads/mcp" }
}
}
Cursor detects the OAuth requirement and opens the Google sign-in when you first use a tool. Full guide.
Windsurf
{
"mcpServers": {
"paidhelm": { "serverUrl": "https://mcp.paidhelm.com/googleads/mcp" }
}
}
File: ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json. Full guide.
VS Code (GitHub Copilot agent mode)
{
"servers": {
"paidhelm": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.paidhelm.com/googleads/mcp" }
}
}
File: .vscode/mcp.json. Full guide.
Gemini CLI
{
"mcpServers": {
"paidhelm": { "httpUrl": "https://mcp.paidhelm.com/googleads/mcp" }
}
}
File: ~/.gemini/settings.json. Full guide.
Perplexity
Perplexity's Computer and Mac app support remote connectors; add the server URL in Settings → Connectors. Full guide.
Any other client
Use the Streamable HTTP URL above. If your client only supports the older SSE transport, use https://mcp.paidhelm.com/googleads/sse. OAuth metadata is published at the standard well-known locations so clients discover authorization automatically.
